Super Rugby Trophy

Today St Martins was spoilt, having the Super Rugby Trophy spend the whole day at our school.
Navigators Two made the most of this and we got a few shots with it. Check out our poses!!

Speeches

We are coming to the end of two weeks of speeches by our students. Each day we have been blown away by the confidence exhibited and commitment of these kids to do their very best in front of a tough audience. We are proud of each and every one of you.

Isaac blew us away with his knowledge of Fortnite, Zack convinced us that Miss Perry and Ms Saxon were aliens, Evelyn taught us about accomplishments, Vasilisa increased our knowledge of palm oil, Marlon shared the difficulties of living with someone with Huntingtons Disease, Lochie persuaded us all that we should have learning dogs at St Martins, and Nikita convinced Miss Perry that she should build a tiny house.

What confident speakers we have. Also impressive was the ability of their peers to give constructive feedback - Miss Perry and Ms Saxon were almost not needed!

Next Wednesday we will be having a speak-off before our final four are chosen for our syndicate finals the following Wednesday.

Welcome to Term 4!

What a great start to our final term together - we have already had our students pushing themselves during Athletics training, supporting each other to prepare for speeches, taking on the challenge of being part of NZ's Healthiest Schools, and showing huge excitement for what is to come with advertising and passion projects.

We are loving the enthusiasm of our students and the way they genuinely care about the others in our class. This term is going to be gone before we know it - let's make the most of it together!
