Today we were lucky to have a visit from Jeff from Get Wise, ASB.
He was here today to talk to us about how to be good with money.
We learnt about how banks reward people by paying them interest for keeping their money with them. So it's a good idea to keep our savings in the bank.
We also learnt a new acronym that we can use to help us save.
A CASH plan
C - Clear goal - Know exactly what you are saving for and how much it costs
A - Action - Have a list of tasks you can do to earn money, and know how much you can earn a week
S - Save - Decide how much you save from your profit and how much you put aside for spending.
H - How long? - How long will it take to save up to reach your goal?
